All you need is an old coffee mug or tea cup and a little creativity. Wow your neighbors, impress your friends and save the planet by upcycling coffee mugs rather than buying new ones.
What you need:
- Coffee mug, tea cup or other ceramic dishware
- Ceramic paint and paint brush
- OR permanent marker
Wash the dish with soap and water and dry well. Use the paint brush to write or paint pictures or use the permanent marker to create your masterpiece. Always work in a well-ventilated room. If you are using ceramic paint, leave your dish to dry for at least 24 hours.
If you are using a permanent marker, bake your dish in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Leave to cool before using.
