These are super easy chickpea burgers that take 10 minutes to make which is why they are perfect for a Monday night. I also use this recipe when camping because the ingredients are so portable. This makes enough for 6 burgers.
- 1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 1/2 onion (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup flour
- salt and pepper
- oil for frying
Place all the ingredients except the oil in a bowl and mash them together. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Form the mixture into patties and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until lightly brown. See? I told you its easy!
Now serve them on fresh buns with tomato and onion or in lettuce wraps if you are carb free or vegan.
