Fish and chips is a real winner, but when you cook them over the fire, you’re in for a herd of happy campers! This camping recipe is simplicity itself and all you need is an egg, some fish and a packet of salt and vinegar chips.
The best fish is always the freshest and you can catch your own. If you need help filleting your fish, see our post here. It’s much easier than you think!
Once you have your fresh fish fillets ready, crack an egg into your camping cup or pot and beat the egg with a fork. Crush the potato chips and now dip the fish fillets into the egg and then into the crushed chips. Fry in a skillet.
