DIY Organic Bug Spray Recipe

Make your own natural insect repellent for a bug-free summer

If you get creeped out about spraying poison that can floor a mosquito all over your skin, all over your kids just before getting it in your mouth by accident, here’s a great solution: Natural Homemade Bug Spray. You can make this handy homemade bug spray in no time at all and it keeps indefinitely.

What you need:

  • 12 drops lemon eucalyptus oil
  • 12 drops citronella oil
  • 12 drops orange oil
  • 1/2 cup witch hazel

Place ingredients in a spray bottle and apply liberally. Kids under two may have reactions if they have sensitive skins, so spray on their strollers instead.
