This tiny house may just make our heads explode because it combines two of our favorite things; tiny living and upcycling! Made from an old grain silo, this romantic country getaway is called the ‘Silo Studio’ and can be found on the Santerella Estate in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts.
Built as a studio for sculptor Henry Hudson Kitson, the best part of this tiny house story is that you can spend a night in the Silo Studio for a very reasonable fee. You can find their posting on Airbnb here.
From the website: “The two-story cottage has a charming bedroom with 35 foot high conical ceiling with canopied bed upstairs with views through massive, multi-paned “mill windows” to the trees and sky and out to the lily pond. The downstairs sitting room looks out on the babbling brook and lovely gardens.”
The one-bedroom tiny home features a kitchenette, a wet bar and a bathroom with shower.
